Linking your Bitcoin Miners to F2pool

F2pool setup is quite easy and effortless and you will be able to easily do it after you have read our guide.

We advise that you enable 2Factor Authentication on all your accounts when working in the Bitcoin Realm on the internet.

Now you can setup your Bitcoin Miners on F2pool without any issues.

Step 1: Please visit the f2pool website and click the signup page.

Step 2: Please click on the Sign Up link in the top right of the page and fill out the registration page, try and keep the email address the same as the one you used to register on our portal, also try to get the same username as your antpool user so you only need to change the miner address instead of the entire pedigree every time you wish to switch pools. You can find the user Bitmart assigned to you inside the portal under your Antpool settings page. (So in short try to use the same email and AntpoolUser)

Step 3: After you have signed up with F2pool you can now click the activation email they send you in your email and log into the site with your email address and password to reveal your Dashboard.

Step 4: You now need to get the settings you will need to input into your miner. Click on the worker page in the F2Pool dashboard on the top left of the menu options next to Home.

Step 5: You need to copy the miner settings to connect to the pool at the bottom of the page: stratum+tcp:// and remember the port should be :3333 following the URL exactly like the bold string above.

Step 6: You can either read our article on setting up your miner here and use the F2Pool details in the first of the 3 allocated boxes for settings or continue reading. Ok now you need to obviously find your miner on the network. So take your smart phone and connect to the same Local Area Network as your Miner and then scan the network using this app for its IP Address if you don’t know it. Once you have scanned the network identify the miner IP, it normally just have a 22 80 in green below the IP.

Step 7: Now go to your browser and not in the Google Search but in the top address bar type in the IP of the miner from a PC or you phone connected to the same network. Once you have entered the correct IP a login popup will appear just type the username as root and the password as root.

Step 8: Update only the top section with your new miner settings for the pool 1 to stratum+tcp:// and leave the second one on the Antpool as well as the third this means they are fail overs for the first if the F2pool should go down for some reason. Click save and you’re done.

If you used the same username on the F2pool site that you have on Antpool you only need to update the first URL string. Happy Mining and thank you for reading our page.
